The Rawhide 3X buffalo fur felt hat is a great hat from the Buffalo Collection by Stetson Hats. This crushable felt hat is great for packing and is easily shapable any time! The Rawhide features a pinch front crown with wire in the brim for easy shaping. The hat band is braided with a buffalo nickel concho. The buffalo fur is a great material because of its durability and ability to resist water, but it is still a soft fur blend. As in the beaver fur felt hats, the X’s in the style of the hat determine the quality of the hat. Care: Use a soft brush, starting at the left side of the hat, and brush it counterclockwise toward the back of the hat and around again. If your hat gets wet, simply shake off the excess water. If it’s a fur felt, you need to turn down the "self-conforming" leather sweatband and stand the hat on the sweatband so it can dry naturally. Never rest your hat on its brim as this could cause it to lose its shape. Store your hat upside down, on its crown, on a clean surface or in a box.
